(Due in 14 hours) (Genetics) The quiz consists of 6 multi-part questions, worth 55 marks.  You have until May 30th to write and upload this assignmenton. Each day that is late on submission will be deducted 20% of the allotted mark. This assignment is 10% of the final grade. 

Show all of your work. This includes writing out and defining formulae/equations, defining/indicating probabilities, indicating p-values, critical values, etc. Answers can be a single number or word response and do not need to be in full sentences. Please report final answers to no more than 3 decimal places, for most cases unless the number is very large or very small. You will not get full marks if you do not show your work even if you report the correct answer.

Please write/draw legibly. If your writing cannot be read, it will not receive any marks.

You may use a calculator, your tutorial notes/lab manual and tutorial answers from class to help you on this assignment. As well, you may use other resources, but our main tutorial materials will be our determining factor for the marking.

The assignment will be based on the first 6 tutorials, cell division, the code and Mendelian Genetics and diversions of the Mendel’s rule, sex-linkage and Chi-Square.•

 The basic format will be of long answer questions, styled on the way your tutorial questions are, and will reflect the format of your final tutorial quiz.• There will be 10 questions in total, the questions are multistep.• 

The assignment will be marked out of 55 points and it will be 10% of the total grade for the final mark.• Markers will have a rubric with points allotted to different parts of the question. Therefore, make sure you show ALL your work. The more the better.• 

You must state every formula even if is given to you on the question or anywhere else. All the variables need to be defined, all probabilities need to be defined and specified. Punnet squares need to be drawn. Phenotypic and genotypic ratios stated clearly, as well as your final answer needs to be highlighted or underlined. Label everything!•

 Any conclusions need to be stated clearly.• 

Your text does not need to be full essay sentences, but needs to be clear relevant to the answer and specific.
